But my friends call me J-Mac. I have created this blog because I love golf and I love riding my horse.
Over twenty-four years of living in the Pinehurst and Southern Pines, NC area, discovering, that many people share these same passions. Welcome to Courses and Horses! This unique spot in the Sandhills of North Carolina is well known for both its Equestrian and Golf Lifestyles. My enjoyment with both to their fullest riding my horse almost every day and golfing as much as I can on the over 40 courses in the area. I also love traveling to new places to ride and golf!
I created Courses and Horses in 2019 so that the many people who live, love, and enjoy these two lifestyles may discover other communities and areas around the country and world that share the same passions.
