Why not a horse farm tour? Today, Prancing Horse which is a therapeutic riding organization is holding a tour today of five horse farms throughout Southern Pines. Have you ever been to a horse farm? Would you like a behind the scene tour? Or maybe you just want to see gorgeous horses grazing in the manicured pastures of these farms. Today is your lucky day! There are many horse farm tours that take place all over the country for great causes.
This wonderful self-guided tour of farms in the beautiful horse country of the Sandhills has been going on for more than 25 years and the gracious local equestrian community has opened their homes and farms in support of the Prancing Horse program. Lunch will be available at one of the sites and there are usually exhibitions and entertainment and one or more of the farms. John Zopatti will be doing an exhibition on my dressage horse at my farm. Tickets are $25 prior, $30 the day of the event and children 12 and under are free.
